The aim of the programme is to provide the students up-to-date knowledge in the field of foreign economics, international relations, business negotiation techniques, etc. In possession of these the students become able to work as middle level managers at companies dealing with foreign trade, logistics and international business or be active in bigger international organisations, multinational companies.
Next to basic subjects (Mathematics, Microeconomics, Law, Corporate management, Informatics, Invoramental economics) the students learn also the following: EU studies, Intercultural management, Foreign trade techniques and transactions, Logistics, Business planing, Human ressource management, International finances, World economics, Intrnational negotiation techniques, International institutions, Political geography, Projectmanagement, Diplomacy and communication, Business management, International protocol and etiquette, Controlling.

MA in International Economy and Business

Study plan

The program reflects the increasing globalization and continuous evolution of international economics and business management. Besides giving a sound methodological foundation in statistics and micro- and macroeconomic theory, the program addresses the main aspects of the global economy: among others, trade, finance, factoring and information flows, multinational corporations, corporate strategies, international organizations, development, regionalism and integration or intellectual property.

BA in Tourism and Catering

Duration of studies: 7 semesters

Study plan

It is a 3,5 years academic program. Beginning with core subjects just as Micro- and Macroeconomics, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Statistics. Specials such as Ressources in Tourism, Rural and Urban Tourism, Local Economic Development, Event Management, etc. Career opportunities: hotels and tourism companies, management of restaurants, multinational corporations, consulting firm.

Admission Process:

All the uploaded documents of the applicant in the DreamApply system will be proved by the faculty's coordinator on a check-list. Missing documents will be also marked. If the applicant will be choosen for an interview, the coordinator sends the applicant's document to the members of the Admission Commitee (AC). The entrance exam happens in the frame of a Skype-interview with the participation of the AC. About the time, content and procedure of the entrance exam the coordinator informs the applicant with consideration of possible time-zone differences.
During the exam the AC proves the language competence, the motivation, earlier studies and the professional interest of the applicant. On a 100 point scale all these will be evaluated. After the exam the coordinator uploads the result into the DreamApply system. The applicant will be also informed about the result. In case of missing documents the coordinator informs the applicant to upload those according the time schedule of the Tempus Foundation.

PhD in Management and Organisational Sciences

Duration of studies: 8 semesters (the first 4 semesters: „training and research period”, the second 4 semesters: „research and dissertation period”)
